Our Policies
Copyright / Licensing Policy
JC Media Drone Service retains copyright of all created works. Duplication or alteration without written permission is prohibited. Media may be licensed or copyrights sold — terms outlined in contract. Client use is limited to the scope defined in the contract. We reserve the right to use all works for marketing and portfolio purposes unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Pricing / Payment Policy
Payment terms are listed in the contract. Remaining balance is due before final media delivery. Payments are accepted via secure electronic invoice; all legal tender is accepted. Prices are subject to change; prices fixed in a signed contract will be honored. Returned checks are subject to a fee.
Retainer Fee / Cancellation Policy
A non-refundable retainer fee is required to reserve a service date. The amount varies by project scope and is credited toward the total upon completion. Both the retainer fee and signed contract must be received to confirm scheduling. Client cancellations forfeit the retainer. If we cancel, the fee is refunded or applied to a rescheduled date.
Rescheduling Policy
Rescheduling due to weather or flight-prohibiting conditions is at our discretion and carries no additional charge. All other client-initiated rescheduling forfeits the retainer fee; a new fee and updated contract are required. For emergencies, contact us with as much notice as possible.
Area of Operation / Travel Mileage Policy
We operate primarily within Wisconsin; out-of-state projects are available on inquiry. Travel fees apply for locations beyond a 45-minute one-way drive from our office.
Special Fees Policy
Costs for special licenses, location fees, permissions, and other required expenditures are the client's responsibility and will be included in the contractual agreement.

Are you FAA certified?
Yes. JC Media holds an FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate, which is required for all commercial drone operations in the United States.
What areas do you serve?
JC Media primarily serves The City of Eagle River Wisconsin, Vilas County and Rhinelander. Contact JC for availability outside this region.
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking at least 1–2 weeks in advance to ensure availability, especially during peak real estate and event seasons.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Safety is our top priority. If conditions are not safe for flight, we will reschedule at no extra charge.
How long does it take to receive my footage?
Edited photos and videos are typically delivered within 48–72 hours of the shoot.
